Additec’s Performance AMRC-P portable additive manufacturing robot cell rated for reactive materials

Additec has introduced the Performance AMRC-P portable additive manufacturing robot cell. Its production-ready capabilities allow for parts to be printed on demand from anywhere.

Software tools help simplify the printing process for novice and expert users, who can tailor their printing parameters to their specific needs. Advanced features include a 6-kW fiber laser configured deposition head and closed-loop process controls, which deliver deposition rates of up to 4 kg/hr. for titanium. The system can print parts up to 1.8 m and can achieve intricate geometries with its multiaxis robotic architecture.

The system can print in materials including aluminum, copper, carbon steel, mild steel, stainless steel, nickel alloy, and titanium.
