Dengensha Compact Feeder designed for quieter operation

Dengensha America has introduced its new Compact Feeder, a lightweight magnet-type rotary nut feeder for resistance welding.

The feeder is designed to operate with 16 db less noise when compared with other vibrator-style feeders, the company claims. Its footprint is less than 11 by 17 in., and it is 50 percent lighter than comparable feeders.

As the feeder operates, nuts are lifted by a magnet, unnecessary nuts are dropped by a wiper, and upside-down nuts are sorted out by a sorting blade. The unit works well with a variety of nut types, including square nuts, hexagon nuts, circular nuts, hexagon nuts with circular flanges, and T-shape nuts with circular flanges.
