EBW system features small footprint

Focus GmbH has introduced the MEBW-60 Compact electron beam welding system with a small footprint that requires a floor area as small as 21 sq. ft.

Features include a hand-held remote control unit, software masks to set weld parameters, and draw-and-weld capability. The CCD camera or electron optical SEM offers high-quality visualization, the company reports. The system can provide fine power beam settings for surface modifications or tiny welds.
