FlexArm GH-60 tapping arm features 2-in. capacity

FlexArm Inc. has introduced the GH-60 hydraulic tapping arm with capacity from 1/2 to 2 in., even in laser-cut holes. The unit has a reach from 20 to 85 in. and operates at 55 or 275 RPM to deliver torque up to 811 ft./lbs. Full 360-degree movement allows operators to position taps with guaranteed perpendicularity, the company reports.

The tapping arm operates from a 480-V power source. Five quick-change tap holders and semi-tap lubrication are included. Options include digital depth control and a multiposition head to change quickly from vertical to horizontal tapping.
