Wind turbines require large-diameter, heavy-weight flanges and tower sections, typically handled by overhead cranes. Pemamek offers the Pema Flange Fitting station, which allows flange fitting without turning the shell. This eliminates the need for lifting clamps and frees up overhead cranes to do other tasks.

The station helps reduce production time for flange fitting and welding while helping to increase fit-up quality, the company reports. The station can be integrated with the Pema Column&Boom, which enables welding to be done in the same place.
