Software infrastructure enables robots to control and command machines

Flexxbotics has introduced the next generation of FlexxCORE software infrastructure for machine connectivity. The patent-pending technology enables robots to securely connect and communicate with all types of automation equipment in the smart factory for flexible, open connectivity. Rather than simply communicating with the machinery, the robots control and command the machines.

The new version is compatible with more than 1,000 different models of CNC machines, other factory machinery, and inspection equipment. According to the company, it enables 22 times faster connector creation than conventional automation integration methods.
