Amada EML-AJ punch/fiber laser combination allows up to 24 hours of continuous operation

Amada offers the EML-AJ series high-speed punch/fiber laser combination machine. The all-in-one machine integrates multiple steps for processing sheet metal such as cutting, punching, forming, and tapping.

The system comes with all the punching functions inherent in single-function punching machines and delivers a punching force of 300 kN. The 3-kW fiber laser oscillator combines high oscillation efficiency with new optics. It employs assist gas rectifying technology for high-quality processing and increased cutting speed.

The machine allows up to 24 hours of continuous operation by combining automation features such as an automated punch and die changer, nozzle changer, laser scrap unloading device, and a cleaning function for cutting plates.
