EQS spray lubricator from Eckardt features slim, modular construction

Modular construction concept for components such as basic frame, spray chamber, and oil supply.

Eckardt Systems EQS series spray lubricator. Eckardt Systems

Eckardt Systems has introduced the EQS series spray lubricator. The slim unit, suitable for press shops with limited space, has a modular construction concept for components such as basic frame, spray chamber, and oil supply.

The machine offers the partial application of lubricants to rectangular and shaped blanks that pass through a closed chamber and are fed and discharged via handling equipment provided by the user. With the help of sensors for blank recognition, the spraying process starts automatically based on the assigned spray nozzles.

The system’s spray chamber has top and bottom spray bars made of an aluminum profile and equipped with individually adjustable nozzles. The back side of the spray bars is heated, and the temperature of the lubricant before production can be set using the control unit. The temperature is measured continually from three different spots on the bars.
