Faccin’s 4HEP-E plate roll delivers rolling speeds to 32.8 FPM

Faccin has introduced the 4HEP-E four-roll, a direct-electric-drive plate roll that offers rolling speeds up to 32.8 FPM. According to the company, the machine’s high-efficiency electric design reduces energy consumption costs by up to 35%.

The low-noise, low-vibration plate roll features an integrated heavy-duty drop-end, enhanced braking torque, and durable screw pumps. It is suitable for rolling steel up to 3 in. thick and 6 to 13 ft. wide. A central lubrication system helps lower maintenance costs and reduce downtime.

An LED display on the front of the machine helps the operator monitor the roll speed and alarm indicators.
