Model TRA traveling clamp from Pascal designed for light weight

Pascal Engineering has introduced the model TRA traveling clamp for use in quick die change on stamping presses. The clamp’s traveling speed can be hiked up to 1.5 times (2 sec. for a 600-mm stroke). The lightweight aluminum base reduces the clamp’s weight by more than 30%.

It comes with a sprocket for smooth traveling action. The roller chain design has been improved to be more lightweight, and the chain structure is more durable even when clamps travel over speed, the company states.
