New technology loads four strips simultaneously into folding machine

Cidan Machinery's Multi Head Side Loader TD

Cidan Machinery Group has introduced the patented Multi Head Side Loader TD feature for the Thalmann TD Double Folder. This smart technology allows the loading of up to four strips simultaneously in four-section mode, reducing loading times by more than 40% compared to single load processing, the company reports.

Equipped with vacuum injectors and ultrasonic sensors, the system handles a variety of materials, from narrow 5.54-in. strips to larger widths. The 16 suction cups allow handling of materials up to 14 ga.
