The TRUMPF TruBend 8000 press brake

TRUMPF is bringing the latest generation of its TruBend 8000 series to the North American market. With a 34-in. open height and a stroke of 27 in., the press brake allows workers to easily bend and remove workpieces that require a large box height, the company states. Press forces are 440 to 1,100 tons for processing long, thick pieces of sheet metal and high-tensile materials.

Available options include a bending aid that automatically positions the workpiece for bending and a tool clamp for high-tonnage applications. In addition, with the station bending option, workers can move from one station to the next, each equipped with different upper and lower tools, to perform a variety of bending operations without changing the machine setup for each operation.
