Software proves progressive dies to be interference-free in less than an hour

Logopress3, a Gold Certified Partner product for SolidWorks®, has taken die simulation (die kinematics) and dynamic interference detection (as opposed to static interference detection) to the next level, says Accurate Die Design Software. With the new interface, complex progressive and transfer dies can be proven interference-free in less than an hour, in many cases, reducing setup time and eliminating redesign issues. Dies that were not designed with SolidWorks or Logopress3 also can be simulated.

Motion curves can be simulated for servo, link motion, fourslide, multiside, and Bihler machines. Varying progressions through the transfer die can be simulated, along with stock lift at stations independent of the other stations. Rotation of the part also can be simulated, as can every other function, including cams.
