Manufactured to fit nearly any press brake, the Brake Partner from Wilson Tool Intl. allows the components of punch press-style forming tools to be used on a press brake. According to the company, the system can help users remove the limitations of the turret press and expand their manufacturing capabilities by creating higher forms and using the tonnage of their press brake.

When new tooling is needed, punching tools are available in days and at a lower cost than press brake tooling, the company states.
