Hilti’s connected fasteners simplify identification, documentation of anchor installations

Hilti has introduced connected (“smart”) fasteners, enabling identification and digital documentation on the job site. Its Tracefast technology uses a data matrix code to make every fastener uniquely identifiable and traceable.

The operator uses the Hilti Connect App on a smartphone to scan the code and view installed fastener details.
