Hypertherm’s Robotmaster plug-in streamlines robotic programming for Mastercam users

Hypertherm Associates has announced a new software plug-in from its Robotmaster brand for converting Mastercam CAD/CAM data into a robotic program.

Users can import CAD files, toolpaths, data, and process-specific information directly into Robotmaster, then synchronize files so changes made to the original Mastercam file are transferred without needing to reprogram. This method automatically identifies and resolves robot programming errors that could otherwise go unnoticed when using a manual process, the company reports.

The plug-in supports Mastercam 2023, 2022, and 2021.
