Sapphire laser debris shields from Laser Research Optics offer high thermal conductivity

Laser Research Optics offers sapphire debris shields that withstand steel splatter, flash, and debris to help reduce focus shift and the deterioration of beam quality while reducing the number of lens changes. They deliver low bulk absorption and high thermal conductivity.

Available in 0.5- and 2.0-in. sizes, the debris shields have A/R coatings on both sides to provide transmission of more than 99.5% at 1.06 µm.
