Apex Machine Group’s 2052M-DSSD four-head sanding machine built for heavy-duty use

Apex Machine Group offers the 2052M-DSSD heavy-duty, four-head machine. It is engineered and built with heavy production needs in mind and constructed for long life and durability, the manufacturer reports. The system comprises two 52- by 75-in. abrasive belt sanding heads with two rows of oscillating disc stations between the two sanding heads.

The first sanding station is powered by a 30-HP motor for cleaning heavy burr/dross or finishing the surface of the material being processed for a very fine finish. The second and third sanding stations are made up of rotating discs with variable speeds and have replaceable abrasive strip style brushes. The disc stations also have oscillation with variable speed to clean various materials and prep for coatings, and to provide a radius to all interior and exterior edges.
