CS Unitec’s Pipe-Max Mini pipe sander/polisher suitable for small diameters

For surface finishing applications on small-diameter pipe and handrails, CS Unitec’s new Pipe-Max Mini combination weld seam grinder and pipe sander renders weld seams invisible and can produce satin to mirror finishes on stainless steel, aluminum, and high-quality metals. With a 15-amp, variable-speed, 820- to 3,000-RPM electric motor that provides high torque, this 10.3-lb. tool deburrs, grinds, and polishes closed and open pipe constructions up to 3-1/4 in. dia.

The grinder features a continuous sanding belt speed adjustment from 10 to 31 FPS to accommodate the pipe material, as well as a continuous belt-tightening adjustment to suit the pipe diameter.

The soft, elastic return roller gives the tool the flexibility to adapt to every pipe contour. Flat surfaces can be ground to remove spot welds and deep scratches, leaving no edges. The drive roller has replaceable rubber rings to help ensure the grinding belts will not slip.
