Norton BlueFire abrasives from Saint-Gobain designed for fast cutting, long life

Saint-Gobain Abrasives has introduced two newly upgraded Norton BlueFire abrasive lines, including belts, cloth quick-change and flap discs, and mini flap discs. Featuring a new, proprietary self-sharpening zirconia alumina grain shape and chemistry, as well as an upgraded resin bond, the R860 and R887D products handle a variety of materials in light- to heavy-pressure operations.

The heavy-duty polyester backing is designed to withstand challenging applications. In addition to metal fabrication and welding, the products are suitable for such industries as foundry, aerospace, automotive, oil/gas, wind turbines, and general metalworking.
