Pulsating jet added to acp’s quattroClean snow-jet cleaning system

The quattroClean snow-jet CO2 surface cleaning system from acp now includes a two-component ring nozzle for a pulsating jet.

Upon exiting the nozzle, the CO2 expands to form fine CO2 snow, which then is bundled by a separate jacketed jet of compressed air and accelerated to supersonic speed to remove particulate and filmic contamination of the material surface upon impact.

The new nozzle generates a pulsating jet with a frequency of 25 to 30 Hz. The pulsating jet of snow and compressed air has a higher kinetic energy than a continuous jet for optimized cleaning.
