Rex-Cut Aluminator aluminum grinding wheel redesigned for faster grinding

The Aluminator Grinding Wheel from Rex-Cut Abrasives has been reformulated to grind 2.2 times more aluminum weld per minute than its original version and to last 46% longer.

The cotton fiber wheel grinds and blends aluminum without clogging or loading. It naturally breaks down as heat is generated, resulting in constant sharp grit being exposed to the aluminum workpiece, eliminating loading and the need for wax or grinding aids. It offers increased grinding action, smooth operator control, very low vibration, and an RA finish of 200, the company states.

The wheel is available in original thickness and a 1/4-in. thickness. Diameters are 4.5, 5, 6, and 7 in. in 36 grit.
