Saint-Gobain launches safety microsite for Norton abrasives

Saint-Gobain Abrasives, Worcester, Mass., has announced a new safety resource microsite offering a variety of resources to help ensure the safe design, application, and use of Norton abrasives products.

Educational content includes safety data sheets, which are accessed by entering the UPC found on Norton products. Safety guides are offered for Norton’s grinding wheels, portable wheels, and coated/nonwoven abrasives.

In addition, 10 safety videos cover a variety of applications, including using form belts, precision grinding and dressing, guard conversions on right-angle grinders, wheel mounting, abrasives use on railroads and in foundries, and grinding wheel safety.
