Viking 48T shotblaster handles 3,000-lb. loads

Viking Blast & Wash Systems has released the 48T shotblaster with 48-in.-dia. capacity. Maximum work height is about 30 in. at the middle of the table and up to 34 in. at the edge.

The table is lined with a self-draining, 3/8-in.-thick manganese alloy plate rotating at 5 RPM with a load capacity of 3,000 lbs. Heavier weight capacities are available.

The blast cabinet is constructed of 1/4-in.-thick AR 500 plate steel reinforced with structural steel. It is lined with 1/4-in.-thick replaceable manganese plates in direct line with the stream.
