Weldcote A-Prime Plus cutting wheels made with multistep granulation process

Weldcote, a division of Zika Group, has introduced A-Prime Plus slitter-style cutting wheels for applications using high-power, right-angle grinding machines. The cutting wheels are manufactured of aluminum oxide with a complex, multi-step granulation process that allows for even distribution of the wheel’s abrasive grains because each abrasive grain is coated with resins and fillers.

Available in Type 1 and Type 27, the cutting wheels are available in 4-1/2-, 5-, and 6-in. sizes with a grit of 46. They offer low burring and reduced sparks, according to the company.
