Multifunction cutting tool performs four machining operations

The SHARK-Cut® multipurpose cutting tool from Arno Werkzeuge USA is designed to eliminate the need for multiple cutting tools and inserts for facing, drilling, boring, and turning operations.

The tool helps reduce tool setup time and tool indexing time between operations, and it creates room on the turret for the use of other tools. The product line features inserts that are peripheral-ground and precision-pressed in grades and geometries suited to machining a variety of materials, including aluminum/nonferrous, steel, and high-temperature alloys.
