Bosch Rexroth’s MPR1000R autonomous mobile robot helps improve shop safety, productivity
Rexroth North America’s MP1000R is a new autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with 1,000-kg payload capacity. Using the manufacturer’s Rokit Locator Software, the AMR can navigate autonomously in highly dynamic environments without additional infrastructure.
The flexible, scalable system safely transports finished goods, raw material components, and work-in-process on pallets or shelves within a factory or warehouse with flexibility similar to human-operated pallet jacks, forklifts, or tuggers, helping to protect workers from potential injury.
The robot features hybrid navigation with simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) + QR Code, 360-degree obstacle detection, and anticollision bumpers and emergency stop buttons in the front and rear.
