Crane transfers loads between workstations

EMH Single Leg Semi Gantry Crane

Engineered Material Handling has introduced the Single Leg Semi Gantry Crane for transferring loads between workstations while freeing up overhead cranes to handle other tasks. The 10-ton-capacity crane has an exclusive polywheel design, which eliminates the need for built-in floor rails.

It integrates the new EMH EG Hoist, which makes trolley adjustment easier with integrated and robust staging that stays tightly together during adjustment, the company reports. The hoist enclosure can accommodate large control panels and variable-frequency drives, with capacities of 3, 5, 7.5, and 10 metric tonnes and 20-, 33-, 50-, and 65-ft. lifts.
