Vacuum cups designed to grip contoured panels

DESTACO has introduced the Deepdish series vacuum cups. They feature a new, bell-shaped body design, available in 2.5-, 3.5-, and 4.3-in. sizes. Molded-in gussets prevent the cup edges from rolling up on convex surfaces, while the thin, pliable design and inner tread pattern allow the cups to adhere to flat, convex, concave, domed, and oily surfaces.

They are made of polyurethane, which provides wear resistance for long service life and reduced maintenance, the company reports. The material does not leave marks on handled objects and maintains its elastic memory after hundreds of thousands of cycles, according to the manufacturer.

The cups have a 60 durometer to pick up highly contoured panels and withstand the elevated shear forces created by increased acceleration and deceleration rates.
