Mahr updates MarSurf CM portable optical surface metrology tool with 16-bit HDR camera

Mahr Inc. has released the updated MarSurf CM mobile portable optical surface metrology tool. It now features a 16-bit HDR camera that improves data density by five times and low light sensitivity by 256 times, the manufacturer states. The tool also offers acquisition speed up to 100 frames/sec.

Designed with motorized XYZ axes, the compact system enables measurements to be performed directly on large parts for surface analysis wherever it’s needed. The unit can be used on the shop floor or in the field and provides consistently high resolution over large measuring areas.
