Compact cutting system fits in shops with limited space

Koike Aronson has introduced the Shop-Pro compact cutting system, designed to fit in shops with limited space.

The CNC system features protected ways to keep out dirt and contaminants; a precision helical gear rack and AGMA 12 grade ground pinions; helical, ultralow-backlash planetary gearheads; bolt-on, high-precision linear rail axis guide assemblies; high-torque drives; 19-in. panel PC; and 2-in. maximum table capacity.

Other features include water or downdraft table, optional laser pointer, optional oxyfuel torch, straight line bevel in rail axis, and 1,000-IPM rapid traverse speed. The system offers ohmic plate contact initial height sensing, with additional secondary plate sensing backup for rusty or heavily scaled plate.
