HGG’s RPC 1200 Mk3 beam coping machine also profiles pipe

HGG offers the RPC 1200 Mk3, which it says is the first beam coping machine with the capability to profile structural beams, angle bars, channels, square tubes, plates, T-bars, and bulbs, as well as a new capability to cut and profile pipes.

Using the manufacturer’s laser beam measurement vision system, the machine automatically scans profiles for common imperfections, including flanges that are not perfectly straight and bodies that are off-center or twisted.

The machine combines the manufacturer’s electronic measuring devices that compare the actual outside shape and position dimensions of the raw material to the cutting program, automatically compensating on-the-fly for any deviation without interrupting material preparation or profile cutting time.
