Prodevco’s updated PCR42 plasma cutting robot processes beams up to 48 in.

Prodevco Robotic Solutions has updated its PCR42 plasma steel cutting robot to allow for processing beams up to 40 in. Optional upgrades allow the system to process beams up to 48 in.

The 7-axis system can cut features, including slots, holes, and markings, onto four face profiles. It is equipped with an advanced laser measuring systems and rotary encoder, able to determine material length and deviations to optimize cutting accuracy.

The interface uses NC1 files with no need for macros or other postprocessing and accepts the files directly from 3D detailing software.
