UC series plasma power supplies from Thermal Dynamics can be connected to double cutting output

Thermal Dynamics Automation’s new UC series of automated plasma power supplies features four models offering cutting power from 130 to 800 amps for piercing mild steel up to 50 mm and stainless steel up to 100 mm.

Two UC 201, UC 301, or UC 401 units can be connected to double cutting output to 400, 600, or 800 amps, respectively, or they can operate independently. With this paralleling capability, fabricators can use two torches on the same gantry to cut steel plates up to 2 in. thick. It also allows cutting of stainless steel and aluminum sections up to 6.25 in.

The power supplies cut bevel angles up to 45 degrees on mild steel from 1/4 to 2 in. thick and stainless up to 4 in. thick.
