Chicago Pneumatic’s CP7748 impact wrench delivers 960 ft.-lbs. of power

Chicago Pneumatic has introduced the new CP7748 ½-in. impact wrench. More compact and powerful than its predecessor, the wrench features a forward/reverse system for one-handed power and directional control of the tool.

The tool delivers 960 ft- lbs. of power in forward and reverse. It weighs 4.4 lbs. and is 14 percent more compact than the original. It features a 360-degree swivel air inlet for maneuverability and a curved pistol grip handle for comfort.

The Power Control Ring System, which can be accessed from anywhere on the tool’s motor housing, allows the operator to select from two forward power settings and full-power reverse, even in tight spaces.
