Hougen introduces kit for HMD2MT magnetic drill

Hougen Mfg. Inc. has released the HMD2MT Fabricator’s Kit. It features the HMD2MT #2 Morse taper magnetic drill bundled with the 83000 tapping kit, 08821 drill chuck adapter, and a ½-in. drill chuck. This allows the operator to drill holes with annular cutters, drill small through or blind holes with a drill chuck, and tap holes. Optional accessories include taper shank drills, reamers, and countersinks.

The drill is powered by a two-speed motor with a forward/reverse option for use when tapping holes. A double dovetail slide allows adjustment of the motor assembly to a higher level to accommodate longer tooling or extended depth of cut, giving the drill a 7-in. stroke.
