Hougen introduces RotaLoc Plus Master Kit for the HMD130 Magnetic Drill

Hougen Mfg. Inc. has released the RotaLoc Plus Master Kit. It contains 14 different sizes of annular cutters—7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/16, 1, 1-1/16, 1-1/8, 1-1/4, and 1-3/8 in.—for the HMD130 magnetic drill. Two pilots also are included in the kit, and all the tools are protected in a plastic case to safeguard cutting edges from collisions and damage.

The annular cutters are made from M42 HSS and are precision-ground for holemaking in materials up to 1 in. thick. They feature a bayonet-style shank so cutter sizes can be changed in seconds without the use of tools. Stack-cut geometry is used on the cutting teeth, which allows them to drill through single plate but also two or more pieces of steel at one time.
