Makita X2 LXT battery-powered, brushless angle grinder handles grinding, cutoff
The X2 LXT® brushless 7- and 9-in. cutoff/angle grinder kit from Makita is powered by two 18-V lithium-ion batteries for 36-V power.
The grinder has an electronically controlled BL™ brushless motor that matches torque and RPM to the application for optimum performance, the company reports. The electric brake stops the grinding or cutoff wheel in 4.5 seconds or less.
