Metabo’s 8.0- and 4.0-Ah compact battery systems offer more power, longer run time

Metabo Corp. has introduced 8.0- and 4.0-Ah slim battery pack with LiHD battery technology. The 8.0-Ah battery is suitable for cordless tools with high power requirements, like small angle grinders, saws, large rotary hammers, and 9-in. angle grinders. The 4.0-Ah compact battery pack is suitable for drilling and screw driving applications.

The 21.700 cells are slightly larger than the previous generation of LiHD cells, yet the battery pack size remains the same. This allows for large cell capacity while delivering higher currents to the tool.
