Milwaukee Extreme Metal band saw blades make more cuts with fewer blade changes

Milwaukee Tool has introduced Extreme Metal band saw blades, which the company says cut two times faster and last three times longer than standard blades in thick and thin metals. Combining high-speed steel and a variable-TPI tooth design, they cut through stainless steel and cast iron.

The Thick Metal Blade (8/10 TPI) is designed for cutting thick extreme metals, such as black pipe and angle iron, but it also is suitable for cutting common thin metals. The Thin Metal Blade (12/14 TPI) is optimized for cutting thin extreme metals such as unistrut and EMT conduit, but also can cut tougher thick metals.
