Walter USA D4140 replaceable-tip drill offers high friction wear resistance

Walter USA has introduced the D4140 replaceable-tip drill, which has a hardened and polished surface that offers high resistance to friction wear. The drill’s ground and polished flutes, similar to those of solid-carbide drills, help ensure smooth and secure chip evacuation.

The drill delivers coolant directly to the cutting edge to prevent thermal shocks. Its 100-degree prismatic insert seating for the P600x Xtra·tec® Point inserts provides secure clamping. Drills are available in 3 x D, 5 x D, and 7 x D and in 0.47 to 1.26 in. dia.
