Mate Versadie HD slits thick materials

Mate offers the Versadie HD™ thick-turret insert slitting die. It accommodates lengths up to 4.560 in. for E stations and 3.560 in. for D stations, offering improved slitting in thicker materials that require more than 0.016-in. total die clearance.

The base incorporates a hat die feature to withstand the punching of heavier materials. The die inserts are fully interchangeable with the standard Versadie. All slitting die inserts are made from MPM82, a high-speed, particle metallurgy tool steel.

The die body allows shimming after the insert is sharpened during routine maintenance. Standard thick-turret die shims can be used, with no need for special shims.
