Muratec offers Motorum M2048TS/2044TS turret punch press

Muratec offers the Motorum M2048TS/2044TS turret punch press. The ram drive incorporates CFRP in the part of the toggle mechanism connected directly to the servomotor to help make it lightweight and rigid. The new drive mechanism and the replacement of the alternating movement help decrease vibration by 65 percent, the company reports.

The brush table reduces scratching on the back of the worksheet while providing stable worksheet movement. Crash sensors stop the machine when material curves upward toward the turret, preventing a collision.

With the optional retractable forming die function, upward-forming tool dies are retracted out of the way of the worksheet movements when forming is not in operation to prevent interference of the forming die with workpieces of workholders.
