Coe’s ServoMaster Touch controls include roll forming tools

Coe Press Equipment’s ServoMaster Touch controller offers features suited to the needs of roll formers. The Stretch Compensation Tool counters the effect of the material becoming elongated or stretched by the roll mill. Sequence Mode permits multistep jobs to be created, enabling up to 50 steps per job to a total of 4,000 steps of storage.

Many applications that use Sequence Mode require Programmable Outputs, which allows for up to six programmable output cards (36 outputs) to be added to the standard controller. The Interrupt function is used for roll forming applications to allow the mill to consume a loop of material after a punch operation.

The FSP feature enables the controller to close a contact to signal auxiliary equipment when each index is completed. Feed Advisor and Work Roll Advisor eliminate guesswork during job setup by calculating feeder speed/acceleration and straightener work roll settings for the user. The Micro-Adjust feature automatically compensates on-the-fly for short and long parts, adjusting to the ideal length for a job.
