With a high-density polyethylene knit shell, Brass Knuckle’s SmartCut (BKCR4420) glove offers ANSI A4 cut protection without bulk and a strength-to-weight ratio 8 to 15 times higher than steel, the manufacturer states. It also adds grip, moisture protection, and a high degree of dexterity.

The water-based polyurethane base coat on the palm and fingers helps reduce penetration of liquids, including light oil, while a foam nitrile top coat secures the grip. This makes the glove suitable for working with oils, petrochemicals, fuels, and most acids. A sandy grip finish further enhances abrasion resistance and cut protection.
