Grand Canyon Alloys’ Bodyguard and Miniguard weld pads offer increased safety, comfort

Grand Canyon Alloys offers fire-resistant weld pads to help increase safety and comfort for welders in harsh environments.

The Bodyguard weld pad is constructed of high-tech material rated at 1,800 degrees F with a 3,000-degrees-F melting temperature. Not adversely affected by welding sparks or corrosive chemicals, the exterior withstands contact with concrete, blacktop, asphalt, and metal grates. It wipes clean in seconds. The filler is an antistatic, closed-cell, nonflammable material that provides ergonomic support for operators in stressful positions.

The Miniguard weld pad is smaller for use in tight areas. It offers the same materials and construction as the Bodyguard.
