The Air-Port fume exhaust hood from Imperial Systems Inc. leaves open floor space in which to work while protecting people and equipment.

Accommodating both manual and robotic welders, the system features a two-legged design that supports the arched hood and gives people space to move. The two compact central legs contain the hood’s ductwork, which has integrated dampers that allow users to adjust airflow.

An optional built-in spark trap helps improve safety when sparks are a hazard. The arched hood shape is effective for capturing fumes, and the system is compatible with many different welding types and materials.
