Infrared temperature sensor detects, monitors hot objects

Balluff‘s infrared temperature sensor allows monitoring of hot objects without contact in inaccessible or harsh environments. Housed in an M30 stainless steel housing with IP67 protection, the sensor features a multifunction display with autorotation.

The IO-Link interface enables such features as parameterizing of the sensor remotely, such as by the host controller or from the control panel. The sensor is suitable for use in foundries, forging applications, and steel plants. Its temperature range is 482 to 2,282 degrees F.
