Tillman's 53 MIG welding glove offers comfortable protection

The John Tillman Co. has introduced its new 53 MIG welding glove. It features split cowhide on the back of the glove and top-cowhide palm construction to resist heat and abrasion while staying soft and pliable.

The glove has reinforced palm and back of fingers and a thumb strap for extra strength. Functionally designed breaks in the cowhide allow for unrestricted movement.

It also features GLIDEpatch, a 10-mm-thick, high-density foam that wraps half the forearm. It is sewn onto the extra-long split-leather cuff to protect a greater portion of the arm while providing extra cushioning. A strip of leather that extends from the side of the outer palm to the tip of the pinky serves as an added heat shield.
