Walk-on pit covers help eliminate fall hazards

Dynatect offers Steelflex covers that can be customized to suit specific applications and power requirements.

Available in medium- and heavy-duty construction, the covers operate with low deflection over wide spans. A standard-duty cover protects machine ways and ball screws from hot chips, coolant loads, and dropped tools. A walk-on-duty cover is load-bearing to prevent workers from falling into machine or inspection pits. The walk-on surface provides machine access during maintenance periods.

Both styles have a stainless steel top surface with aluminum or steel extrusions bonded to the underside.
